Hi! I’m Melissa

I’ve never done the practical thing or at least what society tells you to do.

You could say I’m a risk taker. Despite hearing the taunts of, “but you’ll be a starving artist!”,  I still majored in Studio Art in college. I keep painting because I believe practicing our gifts is not just important, but essential to living fully.

In 2015 I moved from MA to CT to be with my college boyfriend. I decided this before knowing how I would pay for rent or groceries. A week before I moved, I got a job at a Paint Bar, because everything works out when you take the leap.

I later became a middle school art teacher and a yoga instructor. Through all my jobs, I created a community in CT, one I am very proud of and love dearly. I wouldn’t be the teacher or coach I am today if I hadn’t followed my heart and moved.

In 2018, my cool drummer boy boyfriend became my husband. Before and after our wedding, we suffered a few losses that put life into perspective. We realized being close to our parents was important to us, as was experiencing life. So after almost 5 years in CT, we moved out of our home, spent the summer in Bali, and moved back to MA. Yes, I felt crazy for leaving the community I loved. However, our Balinese summer was incredible. My heart led me right again.

I used to journal about being a health coach without any plan of actually pursuing it. It’s funny when you put something out there, either saying it aloud or writing it down, and when the time is right it happens.

Back in MA, I knew the time was now. I honestly felt like I had no other choice but to choose to trust myself and to follow my curiosity.

I want to show others that nourishing our mind and body with the right thoughts and ingredients can lead us to living a long, healthy, and joyful life.

Through my work with women I discovered that we all suffer from not feeling enough. Believing we are worthy is the key to living a life we love.

Helping women develop deep levels of self-love, confidence, presence, and worthiness became my life’s mission.

I want you to go after your dreams, love the F out of yourself and shine, baby.

Join me for 1:1 and group coaching, workshops, meditation, yoga, retreats and feel free to check out my artwork!
